Entrapment has met me once again
The feeling of freedom never seems to stay very long…
My mind traps me here
Negative thoughts stomping back and forth
Screaming in my face
How thy bloody heart begins to pound in my chest
Harder and harder
Worry ridden
Save me from this mind torment
May I be free?
Art is my salvation
My sweet escape from reality within
The battle goes into slow motion for a bit when I am in creator mode

Self-talk
Destroys
Weighs me down
So many all at once
Where can I put these?
They seem to be stuck in a whirlwind
Negative is easily accepted within the mind
Positive tries to enter and meets steel bars with a sign that says, “Positive will get swallowed up in the midst.”
How many pounds are the many thoughts I have whirling around inside my mind?
Always checking to see if I am okay
Am I?
People tend to freak me out
As if they are all my judge
Makes me want to get in someone’s face
Help me will you?
Lonely child on the ledge of a ten story building
Needing to be rescued
Soon is forgotten…
